Blunder Boys

Blunder Boys is the 166th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

The Stooges are excited to catch what they think is their first criminal only to be shocked when Alma reveals the man is really her father who is the dean of the school. Moe punishes Larry and Shemp with his special eyepoke dubbed 81C, then continues their story. One class from Alma Matter involves how to use metal handcuffs. The Stooges try to follow through with the lessons only to realize that she had forgotten to leave them the key.Graduating with the lowest possible honors, the boys join the police force and they receive their first assignment from their Captain, F. B. Eye Kenneth MacDonald American actor. They are to search for a bandit called the Eel who is going to rob the Biltless Hotel. Eel often disguises as a woman during his crimes and smokes cigars. They go to the hotel, but fail to catch the criminal or retrieve the money he stole. As a result, they are booted off the force and the three end up as ditch diggers. ........
